JDT Islam College of Nursing , previously known as Calicut Nursing College was established in the year 2005 as a direct centre of University of Calicut. With the establishment of Kerala University Health and Alllied Sciences, our college was de linked from University of Calicut.

From the academic year 2010-11 onwards it is functioning as an affiliated self financing nursing college under KUHS . Our College is recognized by both INC and KNMC.

VISION:

Excellence in nursing education and service to humanity and to   train and mould clinically competent and knowledgeable nurses with inculcated human values to meet the global requirements.

MISSION:

• To   train, and mould clinically competent, and knowledgeable nurses with inculcated human values to meet the global requirements.
• To make learning an exciting experience that inspires learners to reach their full potential as lifelong learners.
• To train young professionals for leadership to respond to the health care needs of the public.
• To foster synergy and integration between research, education and practice by promoting interdisciplinary collaboration
